Beach Volley Tampere Association (BVT)
Beach Volley Tampere is a beach volleyball located in Tampere. The club offers recreational and competitive activities and other experiences in beach volleyball for all levels and ages. BVT is a member of the Finnish Volleyball Association.
Equipment & Location
BVT acquires proper equipment: nets, balls and boundary ropes, which are freely available to members. In Tampere, the equipment will be kept behind locked doors at Pyynikki’s beach.
The beach’s address is Jalkasaarentie 7, Tampere. BVT takes care of the maintenance of Pyynikki’s field area so that they are always in the best possible playing condition. In addition, Tampere has fields maintained by the city, e.g. in Kaukajärvi and Eteläpuisto near the center.
Weekly King & Queen of the Beach Competitions
Weekly tournaments are tournaments intended for members, which are organized weekly for men, women, veterans and youth players. The competitions start on the beach at 18:00. You don’t need to register for the competitions in advance, just be there and mark yourself on the list before the start time. Weekly competitions are played without a fixed partner, so you will compete as individuals. Each participant receives points from the competitions, which are counted in the ranking. Based on the ranking, the King/Queen/Duke title will be played at the end of the season.

Practice sessions
The club organizes free training sessions for its members. Training is organized in different level groups: beginners, hobby and competition. Both adults and youth players are welcome to enter the practices. Exact schedules and registration for training can be found at Nimenhuuto: https://bvt.nimenhuuto.com/
Games on your own schedule
All members of the club have the right to use the club’s equipment as they wish (Excluding official events, which always have the right to use the fields and equipment). So you can come to Pyynikki to play at any time, as long as all the players are members of the club.
